New: MD Glass

February 2010 – Métal Déployé has developed a new product: MD Glass. This is a laminated glass product containing expanded metal. The combinations and possible applications are endless. As well as decorative applications in partition walls and tables, this product can be combined with, for example, safety glass, providing the perfect fall prevention for stairs, balustrades and balconies.

MD Glass was developed in close collaboration with Steinfort Glas from Franeker. The specific product know-how and expertise of the two companies played a decisive role. The combination of laminated glass with expanded metal results in a new product with possibilities that will certainly appeal to architects. The edge finish can be mat or polished, as with normal laminated glass. In addition, MD Glass can be supplied with cut-outs or holes for assembly purposes.

Endless combinations

Glass is available in all sorts of colours and with all sorts of printed designs. Expanded metal is also available in a range of designs and colours. So the possible combinations with MD Glass are endless.
